MudBrick's Upgrading it's Look

Look for a new look from MudBrick early next week. Our new site is still in production but we have a very sexy interim taste for everyone that will go live early next week. In the meantime I thought I’d share a blog design we did during our initial blog redesign phase that was hot but maybe a little too edgy for some of our customers. Still we like to show some style every once in a while.

Don’t be surprised if this one winds up being this designers new blog when time permits… J

Troeg's Concept That Didn't Make the Grade

Thought I’d share some design coolness that didn’t get chosen by the customer but would have been a different flavor for their new site either way. This design would have been a one-page site (vertical scrolling) using JavaScript to scroll between nav sections and subnav content. This would have been a very unique build for us using our CMS 4Site (http://www.4sitecms.com) compared to other sites we’ve developed.

The customer was torn between this style design and the one they chose which is awesome! Our team totally crushed this project and left nothing on the table. Looking forward to delivering it possibly before end of month.

Impressive Use of 3d Engine in FLash

Some very cool demo work here of Alternativa 3d Flash engine. We are getting closer and closer to the possibility of real time 3d rendered interactive environments and possibly FPS games in the browser window that will work at a reasonable framerate.

Our Design Pimped

One of our design wizards just brought to my attention that the design we did for the Harrisburg BarCamp has some primary placement on the Axis Apparel website. We did two separate shirt designs for this event and both are in their samples gallery. Both came out cool but pricey using Axis for the screen printing.

Music Without Lables.com Picks Up Some Steam

Our latest project, Music Without Labels.com has picked up some steam after the South Park Music Tour this month. With over 80 bands performing and industry pro’s all over the place, MWL’s founder, Dante Cullari, was chosen to be a panelist/featured speaker to discuss the industry and where it’s headed. Since MWL has seen spikes in traffic and has had 12 new bands signup to take part in the movement. Be sure to check out the site and support MWL.

Designs that Didn't Make the Cut

We thought we’d share with everyone some of the design concepts we did for our internal redesign project that just didn’t quite make the cut. We went through a fairly extensive process until we finally hit the design we’re in production on now. Many concepts were awesome, but just not quite the look and or branding we had in mind for what MudBrick Creative is all about. Some of those are shown here. The scary part is that any one of these, given the right amount of massage and interactive pieces would rock for most, but not here.

So enjoy some of these and look forward to our phase one redesign in July. Phase 2 and final interactive site slated for August/September if all of the billable work gets done.

MudBrick Delivers for the GottaPea's

When you need a viral video and you want something funny and well thought out, MudBrick is the team. With a limited timetable we delivered this video for GottaPea. MudBrick Creative handled all video art direction, editing and post production to give the customer a piece to use at trade shows and online. The project was fun as part of it was shot in a junkyard and part in a local TV studio.
